Many of these pages and resources were originally developed by volunteers with Babywearing International.

While the national Babywearing International organization does not exist anymore, its contributions to the advancement of safe and accessible babywearing can still be felt today and should not be overshadowed by the loss of the formal organization. In its brief history, Babywearing International helped to build and connect the larger babywearing community, develop a knowledgebase of free educational resources, and make safe babywearing more accessible and established.

This wealth of educational resources was built by the hard work and collective knowledge of volunteers across the county and around the world. Because the Babywearing International website is no longer functional, we have preserved many of these resources in our LEARN section. We have not altered these resources in order to give attribution (when possible) and respect to the work of the original authors. References to Babywearing International have been maintained to preserve the contribution of the amazing community, but questions and requests for assistance should be directed to babywearing experts who lead many of the fantastic local-level babywearing organizations still in existence. You can find a local group through the directory link below.
